ESTÉE LAUDER; Platinum Illuminator

So, today I'm reviewing a shimmer powder I have. I got it from my mom a few years ago for Christmas. It's called "Platinum Illuminator" and you could probably buy it anywhere, like tax-free shops at airports or any cosmetic store. It's starting to get pretty old now, because it was a part of the Estée Lauder "Into the Night" Holiday Collection in 2007. My mom bought it in a sort of shopping mall with some expensive stores in, like Hugo Boss, Gant, Ralph Lauren and all sorts of things like that. I do think it's a bit expensive, but it lasts forever. I've had mine since Christmas 2008 or something, and it still looks sort of full. I've used it a lot, not only for parties or birthdays, but for a normal everyday. It sort of makes you look more awake and it gives you this beautiful glow. I absolutely love it.
Platinum Illuminator from Estee Lauder
It costs about 72 dollars, but as I said, it last forever. It's great for setting your foundation and giving your skin a smooth look. You get that perfect glow because of the fine gold flecks in it, that practically melt into your skin. I never feel that I'm wearing this product. It doesn't feel like it's blocking my pores or anything. You can wear it all over your body. On you face, neck, shoulders, belly and even in your hair. It's not too much glitter/shimmer in it, so it doesn't look over-done, but just enough to give you this perfect glow. It doesn't give any color at all, it just gives you the red-carpet glow. This is absolutely my favorite in my make-up bag!

Love for Fashion at Tumblr

I decided to talk a bit about the blog that inspired me to start one
on my own. Her name is Ashley and she lives in Arkansas. She's
18 years old and setting up for a Fashion Week in her hometown.
I've watched her blog for a long time, and she usually just posts
pictures she likes of clothes, models, designers and sometimes just
random stuff. She does giveaways, which I hope I will do if I get
enough readers daily to do it. I admire her a lot, because she's
a great blogger, but also because she's 18 and setting up a Fashion
Week on her own. She gets contacted by stores, new designers and
they are having her to review their stuff. She's a full time blogger
and she seems like a really cute person. When Fashion Week's all
over the world start, she follows them deeply to give her readers
pictures and information about new designs and even which of our
favorite celebrities that where there and what they wore. I found
inspiration from her to start the blog, and I find inspiration in her
to keep blogging even if no one reads it at all. So if you need inspiration,
fashion tips or information about fashion lately you should go to her
blog and check out her awesome pictures, taste, reviews and maybe
you could enter a give-away contest! Go to; http://loveforfashion.tumblr.com

For you korean fans out there

Seoul Fashion Week Spring 2012: The Women’s Collections

Seoul Fashion Week's show for the womens collection (spring 2012)
recently finished. Accessories plays a small or no role, and the korean
designers used luxurious fabrics like two layered silk. Some of the
designs are more business looking and classic, but they have some
childish teenage looking designs. I'll post the pictures I found,
but at the bottom of this post I'll give you the article about it
from www.fashionista.com, so you can read the thought around the
different designs from designers like An Yoon Jung, Miss Gee, Enzuvan,
Lie Sang Bong, Lee Doii and many other korean designers!

Outfit of the day!

"Oriental look"Oriental

The black dress with oriental pattern on is perfect for any occasion. You can actually wear it on Christmas eve or any other Christmas parties. The earrings is also oriental, and that's what made the whole look oriental. The shoes are just simple black pumps that fit everything. You should chose a metallic gold clutch to match the dress. I love oriental patterns!

London

The 10th November I'll be taking off to London, our great town of fashion.
I was actually going to London in the Autumn break, but my mom and I got sick.
This time I'm travelling with my boyfriend and his father. The boys and me...
I'm really looking forward to this, because this time I'm really prepared for what
I'm going to do, where I'm going and what I'm looking for in the stores. So I thought
that I should try to show you some of the clothes, shoes, make-ups and accessories I'm
looking for when I'm going to London. While in London, I will blog. My boyfriend is going
to take his computer with him for my sake, so that I could give you info about London,
what I've bought so far and what I've done. I'm also going to put in a few pictures that
I take in London, because I will bring my camera there, of course.

Throughout this week and half of the next week, I'll be going to
show you some of the make-up products, clothes, shoes or accessories
I'm going to buy in London. Of course I will buy something random I
wasn't looking for at all, but this I will tell you about when I am in London.
I will also tell you about things I NEED and don't just WANT in London, so
stay tuned for more London and what I will buy when I'm going there.
If I find the perfect clothing, shoe, accessory or whatever else, that is.

Natalie Portman

She's a beautiful and great actress. She's a fashion icon and she is Dior's cover girl.
Natalie Portman has an absolute adorable look and she has played several roles.
She played in "The Black Swan" with her gorgeous opponent Mila Kunis.
Besides the acting part, they're extremely good friends. Natalie recommended
Mila to play the strong and energic Lilly in Black Swan, because of their great relationship.

I love both Natalie and Mila, but they are two completely different people.
Mila is more sexy and rough. Natalie is sweet and gentle. This is really good
displayed in The Black Swan. Natalie's perfect for the sweet role and she's
also perfect for the role in "No Strings Attached" with Ashton Kutcher as the
girl with trust-issues and binding problems. She's a beautiful actress.

She's a beautiful actress, but she's also a great model. She's been fronting Dior a few times now and I hope they are going to keep her. She has the sweet and adorable look that the perfume smells and looks have in Dior. The make-up is also sweet and gentle, so to choose Natalie as cover girl was a pretty smart move. The critics have loved Natalie for a long, long time.

She always looks classy and cute. I think she's a great fashion icon, and I find a lot of inspiration in her. She has these beautiful eyes and a cute beauty mark on her cheek. If I need help, she's one of the celebrities I google to check for outfits or make-up looks. She always looks so natural.

The thirthy year old acress is from Israel, but she was raised in America. She is the most promising and one of the most sought after actresses in Hollywood. She's been in several huge films like "V for Vendetta", Closer, Black Swan and Thor. She's won a Golden Globe for the best female actress for her role in The Black Swan and a Oscar for the best female actress in the same role. She's engaged to her coregrapher in The Black Swan and they have a son called Aleph.
She has a Harvard psychology bachelor and she speaks several languages fluently.

So if you need some inspiration, watch any of her movies or google her style!
I love Natalie and I'll keep loving her and following her style!

"Christmas fashion"
Christmas fashion

This year, dresses that show different body-parts has been a huge hit. Even if it shows a whole shoulder, some of your belly or has a open back, it's this years fashion. Since I'm sick of red christmas dresses, I decided to use a black one that shows both shoulder and belly. I didn't quite get rid of the red-christmas yet, so the cute red pumps would be perfect for this dress. The earrings were totally random, but they fit the dress. A fake fur is also the perfect touch to this outfit. Fake fur has been big this year. So, you should wear the fur around your shoulders, then you would look really classy! You can use a red lipstick too, and try smokey eyes. You could also go for a natural look to sort of highligh the outfit!

Modcloth

There's this site I'm on a lot, which is called Modcloth. It's a clothing site, but the clothes are a bit special. They're vintage. They are made in styles from 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. They have this auction thing too, where they sell antique vintage things. The bad thing about this, is that they only have one of eveything and they sure disappear quickly. I love this site because they have all sorts of cute clothes, bags and jewelry. They also sell decorating for apartments or houses. I really love their clothes, but I've never bought anything there, even if it's not expensive at all. I think they use PayPal, I think I've checked it before. There's a lot of people using it, because they have a lot of things that get sold out.

When you make an account on Modcloth, you can make wishlist. If you find an item you love, you can add it to a wishlist and send it to others, even if they have an account or not, but you have to have an account to buy things. They also have a size chart that shows the size of UK, EU and all others. They have a video on the site somewhere that shows you how to do your measures, so you can watch the video and measure yourself to see how the clothes will fit on you before you buy them. If you buy something from Modcloth, I would love to get your opinion on how it was to order, how long time it took to get it and if you're happy about you new clothes!

Here's some things on my wishlist from Modcloth:

1. http://www.modcloth.com/Modcloth/Womens/Shoes/Heels/-Breathtaking-Bouquet-Heel
2. http://www.modcloth.com/Modcloth/Womens/Accessories/Bags/-Always-at-the-Top-Bag

6.http://www.modcloth.com/Modcloth/Womens/Accessories/Earrings/-Atop-the-Jewelry-Box-Earrings

1; I really love the pattern on these shoes and also the form of the shoe itself.
2; This bag has a genuine color, and it's spacious enough for anything.
3; I love sweaters, and this sweater has the perfect autumn colors.
4; This cardigan is warm as well as it looks nice. It's so simple, but it looks awesome.
5; This is ABSOLUTELY my perfect coat! I will look for this when I go to London the 10th November. It has the perfect cut and I love the placing of the buttons. The collar is perfect and I love the dark grey color with some hint of white in it. It's absolutely perfect. If I can't find a look-a-like of this in London, I will order it right away.
6; These earrings are both cute AND classy. I love that they have a diamond on the top and one hanging. The chain color fits the diamonds perfectly too. These earrings could fit anything.

So, if you love vintage clothing or if you're just curious, you should absolutely take a look at www.modcloth.com and make a wishlist. Who knows, maybe you'll find your perfect outfit?

*So sorry for no pictures. The site won't let me copy anything*

Jade-eyes, step by step

I bought this green-stardust eye-shadow this summer, and I wanted to do a sort of "smokey eye" with this jade-color. So I did my make-up step by step to show you how to do it.

First I applied a face-lotion to soften my skin. After you've done this, you could put on any foundation or whatever you want. Remember that after you've put on foundation, you should set it with some loose powder to make it last longer. I did not use foundation for this, but I used
concealer under my eyes to make the blue-tired area under the eyes disappear. After I did that, I used a military green color with a bit glitter in it.
*The color in the middle*

I used this color all over the lid, and the color is a color from a palette I bought in a H&M store.

When you've done this, you start with the crease color. It's usually black in smokey eyes, but I decided to use a dark-grey instead to make it a bit more casual. I used a dark-grey color from my Isadora eye-shadow palette with mat colors.
*I used the third color on the palette*

I used a crease brush to get the color into the outer part of my eyes. I also try to get the color as close to the lash-line, because everything about the smokey-eyes is to blend the color into each other. So the grey color is sort of blending into the green, it's going to fade into being green.

Then we're going to use the stardust eye-shadow. The eye-shadow is from Kiko, and I bought it on the airport in Milano, Italy. I love the color of this, because it gives you a jewel look.

Use the brush you used for the whole eyelid with the other green color and sort of push the color onto the lid. Don't use it on all the lid, but only where you still see the other green color, don't cover the grey-color.

*As you can see, you now have this jade-color on your eyes*

Now you can use the thinnest brush you own, and you're going to use the dark-grey color again. Use the brush on the lower lash-line as close as possible. Make sure it melts together with the grey color on the eye-lid. If you own a grey eye-liner pencil you should use it, but black and brown works as well. Use the pencil on your waterline, make sure it looks OK with the
grey color, that there isn't any wholes in the line.

I used a brown eye-liner from H&M in the color "Chocolate" .

Take a black eyeliner, I used a gel-eyeliner (the one I reviewed last night). Use it on the eye-lid as close to the lash line as possible. Let it be thicker and thicker the longer out you go before you create a line out of your eye. Keep looking at the eye you finished first to get them as like as possible. To make them look alike is the biggest problem with eyeliner.
And now for the finish. Curl you lashes with a lash-curler and put on your mascara. Remember to use mascara on the lower lash-line too, this creates a more dramatic look. I used my lash-curler from Ellos and a mascara from L'OREAL Paris and it's called "Lash Architect 4D"
And then you're done! Remember to use a concealer under the eyes again to remove any kind of eye-shadow or glitter that may have fallen down from your eyelid.

Extras;
*This is the concealer I used*

*The left brush I used for both the green eye-shadows. The middle one I used for the grey crease color, and the thin one I used at the lower lash-line with the grey color*

*Before*
*After*

Enjoy the look!

Outfit of the day + blog review!

"Cozy look"
Cozy look
As I said before, I'm totally in love with huge sweaters this season, but for you who people who don't like the baggy look on them I made this. The waist belt gives the sweater a more feminine look. To make it all less baggy, you can use legging. I couldn't decide if I wanted the brown pumps or boots, but if you really follow the fashion for the season I would go for the boots. The earrings are just a simple detail to make it all a bit classy. This look was actually inspired by one of my classmates. She used a old sweater that her grandmother had made for her. The sweater's main color was green, so she matched it with a thin leather belt in brown.
She used black leggings for this, and the shoes were white high converse. I would have used brown leggings for the look she had, because of the brown belt. The shoes were actually looking good for this look, since the sweater had some white details on it. You can see her outfit-pictures of this here;

Blog review of "www.rosalipgloss.blogspot.com"
So, since I mentioned her, I could talk a bit about her. She is my classmate, and she has an amazing style. She's one of those who actually care to take her time to put together a nice outfit and sometimes good make-up. I usually just put on something random before school, because I always sleep as long as I can. I like her blog, because she takes all sorts of random pictures, even if it's something she's done today or an outfit she wore, she has pictures of it on her blog. She does the same as me sometimes, the "inspiration" posts and such. She has some great ideas for outfits, and she is a big inspiration both in real life and on her blog. She gives me a lot of ideas. She's also the one I ask about things I can have on my blog too. We sort of discuss themes and ideas about post. So I really would like to thank her for supporting me through the blogging, and also for helping me, inspiring me and giving me ideas. So, check out her blog! Maybe you find the inspiration I get the chance to find for every new outfit she has!

*I love the star-dress in navy blue and her purse*

So, that's it for now. I'll make a new post later today. I don't know quite when yet, but I can assure you that it's gonna be another one. I think I am going to review a green-stardust eye-shadow I bought this summer. Stay tuned for jade-eyes!
