Outfit of the day!

Night out pink

Night out pink

Beige is a color hard to match with anything else than earth colors, so I tried to match it with pink and black. I think the result was flattering. The black gives the look a more formal or "night out" look, and the hot pink compliments the black. Nude lips keep the beige involved in the outfit, and you can do beige nails if you want to. You can use a beige clutch instead of a black one as well. Do a classic eyeliner and you're good to go! Enjoy.

I'll be posting the clothes I bought the other day tonight or tomorrow morning. We'll see when I get the pictures done.

Outfit of the day!

Colorblock aquarium

Colorblock aquarium

I have this thing for big dresses without shape. They fall perfectly on anyone, and your legs will appear smaller because of the sqared shape on the dress. I decided to take this green dress and match it with some royal blue accessory. I love this seastar ring, and I've seen it on Emily VanCamp in the serie "Revenge". I chose black pumps for this, because I don't want it to be too much. The necklace looks perfect on this dress, but the clutch could have deeper tones of green and blue. You have to remember that you don't need to much color. You should go with simple black nails and gold accessory next to the necklace. I would do some kind of royal blue smokey eye for this outfit. As for the hair, I would have kept it as straight as possible, no matter how long or short your hair is. I can try to make a make-up tutorial for the royal blue eyes and maybe something for the hair, except I have short hair. Enjoy!

Accessories are everything

Inspiration (nr.4)

I LOVE this ring. Matches every color in my wardrobe.

Every girl needs something like this in her jewelry box.

Oh God, where can I get these?

    So adorable, typical festival-accessory.

    This is perfect.

This would look god with any dress, or even suit.

I'm going to hang my jewelry like this.

    Why are these so expensive?..

Outfit of the day!

Neon sport

Neon sport

I really like this outfit, because it's so bright. You can use any neon color you want, but I prefer yellow. This is a pretty casual look, but you can make it more formal by using high heels instead. If you want, you can use black leather pants or leggings instead of the striped ones, if you think it's too much. You should do black eyes for make-up, as black as you can with your eyes. A high pony-tail is perfect for this sporty look. If you want to, you can use neon pink accessory instead of black. This will give you a nicely colorblocked outfit! Enjoy.

I bought some new clothes today, but I haven't had time to photograph them yet. I will do it tomorrow, or else I'll do it this weekend! I actually bought some pieces from this outfit, like the neon top and the black necklace. Look-a-likes at least.
See you soon, my lovelies!

Outfit of the day!

Apricot summer
Apricot summer

I actually have parts of this outfit of my own. I have an apricot chiffon skirt and the floral crop top. I don't have a white cardigan like this one, but I'm looking for one. I really like this outfit, because it's cute and it's a perfect summer outfit. Summer tan skin looks great beside this apricot color. I often wear it for my nails and lips. It just gives you a glow when you're tan. I also added pearls for this, but you can use gold for it too. I recently bought three rings in gold with different tones of apricot which would look great with this outfit. The shoes give this a more formal look than a casual one, but you can wear perhaps white converse for this too. Enjoy!

Summer says hello...

... And with it so do I! I've been longing to start blogging again, but I haven't really made time to start again. Since school's over for me this year, except I might have to do an exam, I have no longer any excuse not to blog. So, I'll be starting again. This time I don't think I'll do scheduled posts, except the "outfit of the day" posts. I'll try blog more freely. Maybe a day I blog alot, maybe another day not at all. You get the point. I'm thrilled that I can start again. My computers were totally ruined, so my mom bought me a brand new MacBook Pro! Perfect for blogging, I say.

You might not know the reason of me quitting at all, but I'm going to blame it all to school. There has been some personal issues as well, but school is mostly the problem. Also we have my computers to blame. Since the last time I blogged, there has been massive changes in my life. I've got a bigger wardrobe, a new circle of friends, cut my hair(!!!!) and I even got a new boyfriend. My last relationship didn't exactly work out, just to inform you of that, no one to blame exactly.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to start again! I don't know when it all will be a regular part of my day, so it might get a slow start. I'm going to show you the "new" me, and we'll see what happens after that. I hope this will give me some kind of experience around fashion and blogging, since I might be going to an university in USA to study fashion! If you have any request for me to blog about, or just have any tips or so at all, you can send me an e-mail at: henriette_handle@hotmail.com
See you soon, my lovelies.

Terrible quality, I know. Here's to my new hair!

Silky coconut

I'm dying inside right now. I am following this girl on Youtube called; AndreasChoice. She's doing these "do-it-yourself" videos, which I absolutely love. So, she did this DIY-video for a hair-cure, and I had to try it. The ingredients were really easy. Coconut oil and 1 egg. The coconut oil I bought was organic, and I think that was the best you could get. It cost 200 kr (kroner), so it was expensive in my opinion. It was actually made to use in food and such, but the lady in the store told me I could use it on skin, hair and face. So, all you needed was a bowl, coconut oil, 1 egg and a plastic bag. I'm sitting here with a plastic bag on my head right now, and my mom is laughing her ass off... So.

You need;
  • Coconut oil (preferably organic)
  • 1 egg
  • Fork
  • Bowl
  • Plastic bag

Step-by-step;
  • Melt the coconut oil, and then let it cool down a bit.
  • Add the egg, and whisk it together really good.
  • Take your hair in sections.
  • Use your hand to really get the hair-cure into your hair.
  • The egg will dry pretty quick, so your hair will be really stiff.
  • Put your hair up at the top of your head and put the plastic bag on your head.
  • Knit the plastic bag so that it is tight around your head.
  • Let it stay in for about 20-30 minutes, depending on how much repair your hair need.
  • Wash it off!
You can see Andrea do it herself here!

Haha, I'm laughing so hard right now.

Repair is needed

Obviously, I haven't blogged for a while. My standard home-computer is broken and it's now on service. I don't know when I'll get it back, but hopefully it's sooner than I think. I've been using my small laptop since I sent the big one to repair, and it's really slow and lags a lot. I forgot my small laptop at my boyfriends house yesterday, so that's why I didn't start to blog yesterday again. Today I've been sick, and I've had to use my school computer, which is useless because I cannot install any programs. Therefore I have not blogged and I will probably not blog before tomorrow. I will try to do outfits from my school computer, but anything else than that is hopeless. I have insanely a lot to blog about now, so I won't have any problems writing posts, it's just the pictures that need some fixing and such. Last time I tried to use Polyvore from my school computer I couldn't even log in, so. I'm sorry for the delay of blog-posts, but I will start tomorrow again. I have ordered so many things online recently, and I think you'll love them. Especially my new shoes! I haven't got any of them yet, but it's getting close. I'm so excited! I've received my Lacoste winter shoes, so I will show you them at once I get my computer back! The small computer, that is. And by the way; it's finally snow in Norway!

Blouse is classic

Today I've been extremely lazy I feel. I got up at 12 o'clock this morning, but I didn't do anything until four... Anyhow, I added a new classic clothing to my wardrobe today. I've been looking for blouses for a long time now. Silk, transparent, cotton. Just every kind of blouse. I want a white blouse with a black bow, but I can't find one right now. But! I randomly took a walk around the mall while I was waiting on a bus. I took a trip into Carlings, and there it was. On the wall, just staring at me. I just grabbed my size and paid at once. When I tried it at home, I couldn't be more happy about it.

It's obviously transparent as you can see. I absolutely love the shape! The way it falls and how it goes longer at the back. Ah, it's just perfect. It's classic too! And, well. I love elegant and classic clothes and make-up. I really liked the first picture I took. I'm really looking forward to use this. I can tone it down and up as much as I want. It's a really basic clothing actually. I love it!
