Outfit of the day!

"Stripes and red look"

Stripes and red

I stole this idea from a friend of mine in class. I blogged about her before, so I will link you her blog below. Today she wore a black and white striped shirt and a high waist black skirt. I thought it looked incredibly cute, and I miss my black high waist skirt. This is a really cute look, so I though I could make it a bit more rough. I chose a red and white striped shirt instead. I went with low winter boots and a cute matching shoulder purse. I chose silver and black for jewelry, because it creates a more rougher look. I would go with dark red lips for this, and maybe some sort of greyish smokey eyes!

Outfit of the day!

"Patterned brown look"

Patterned brown

Matching patterns is something that's been going this winter. I've really tried to do this, but it's extremely hard because I feel it looks awful. But the thing is that it doesn't. Just match whatever pattern you want with another, it will look great. If you think it looks too much, use a blazer to tone it all down. Try to use jewelry in one color, not different colors, it would be too much. I only chose toned down accessories for this. I think this really looks great, and I would wear it, because I love patterns. I've just never known how to wear them.

Outfit of the day!

"Pastel beauty look"
Pastel beauty

I really love pastel colors. They look so adorable. I saw these colors on Serena Van Der Woodsen on Gossip girl once, and I loved it. I went through a blog a few days ago, and she had a really inspiring picture with these colors. I can show you the picture below. The cute baby blue shirt is perfect for this cute baby pink skirt. I would put the shirt under the skirt. I would also want a high-waist skirt actually, because then I wouldn't have such a short skirt. It's OK with a normal skirt, but it could look a bit weird with the shirt down the skirt then. I really love these nude shoes and the purse, because it gives the whole look a nice touch. It's a really bright look, and it makes me sort of happy. I really like the cute earrings too. The reason I chose the Dior perfume, is because the look on it is so cute and it smells amazing! It's a perfect fit for this outfit. And if you live in a cold country, there's nothing wrong with a white pantyhose under the skirt!

M.A.C (Russian red)

I finally had time to do a review! I'm going to do a review on my M.A.C in Russian red.
It's a really bright red color, and I think it's a bit better than the M.A.C Red. It's a bit darker, and that is perfect for my hair color. I've used it at school already, and it didn't look too much for school. That's whats great with it. It's not too much red. It's a toned down red, sort of. The only bad thing is that if you lick your lips and swallow afterwards, you can get a really dry throat. I hate that lipstick does that, some lip glosses and lip balms also does this. It's annoying and it's making me thirsty and makes me cough.

Other than this it's actually nothing. I use a lip balm under it, so that it doesn't dry out my lips and it works really good. It's easy to remove, but if you miss on your lips you will stand in front of the mirror in a long time to remove it. It's easy to remove on the lips, hard to remove on the skin. I think you could use it as a blush too. I haven't tried it, but it's a nice color. Creme blushes are really in this winter I've seen.

My lips are kind of heart-shaped, so I have to do the down and upper lip by it self. I never just put my lips on the lipstick bullet and drag it side to side, as other do. I have to precise it a lot more, and with this lipstick it's very easy. I've noticed that if I don't wear lip balm under, my lips will be dry and I'll have to put more lipstick on, so that a bad thing because I have to precise it so much. That's all I think! I will try to do a make-up tutorial with some of my new make-up this weekend, so stay tuned!

"Nerdy pink look"

Nerdy pink

I've always been a fan of blazers, because they can make ANYTHING look beautiful. I never wear t-shirts with prints on, because it reminds me of childrens clothes. I often see people with jeans an t-shirts, but it can look a bit boring I think. So I piffed this nerdy t-shirt with a pink blazer, because there is some green in the shirt and green+pink is perfect I think. I chose shoes that fit the blazer and I found a bag that was somewhat matching it all. I chose cute jewelry, pink, pearls and gold. This just gives it all a cute touch. I would go for pink nails, but I might use a light pink lipstick as I show you here. Now you can see how easy it is to make a cute outfit with a t-shirt. So don't throw your t-shirts away. You can always make them look professional, cute, classic or cool.

Wedding!

In January I'm going to a wedding. I'll have to wear a long dress, even if I'm not such a big fan of them. So, I started looking for some dresses, and I found one I really liked. I found two actually, but I can't wear white in a wedding. I found it on www.modcloth.com and I'm going to wear it with nude pumps and classic make-up. Pink cheeks and Audrey Hepburn eyes. I'll also put my hair up. I'm going to post pictures of the whole thing when I'm actually dressed for the wedding.

And I found it here; http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/dressed-to-thrill-dress
I'll have to order it in size 2 if I'm going to buy it. I really like this dress, because it looks classic but still modern with the gold front. If you click on the link you can see the details. I absolutely adore this, and it's not so expensive I think. If I'm not going for a classic make-up look, I would go for a cute natural make-up look. I would make myself look a little flawless. I want long gold earrings for this and a cute bracelet. If I find one, I want a clutch in the same color as the skirt on this dress, but with a long chain strap so that I can hang it on my shoulder. I will let you know if I find anything else!

"Earthy colors look"

Earthy colors

So, this winter it's the natures color we're wearing. Different brown tones, green tones, orange and red tones. I made a look with this, and I used brown leather pants with two different brown tones. Leather is also a nature fabric, so I think it's great doing a nature look with leather. I went with a leather bag in the same color as the pants. A moss green top is perfect too this. Since it's winter I would wear a long-sleeve basic in the same or in a darker green tone under the top. I really liked the green shoes I found, but I would definitely change the shoe-laces on them. I found earrings with a green stone and a bracelet with wood. Gold is also perfect for this! Do a natural or nude make-up look for this.

Weekends!

I wont do post in the weekends anymore, only on workdays. I wont because it's too much of a job to do two-three post a day in the weekends. So, that's why I haven't been blogging recently. If I'm bored, I might do some posts. I will keep up the postings on workdays, so keep reading!
Enjoy the weekend!

Outfit of the day!

"Burgundy gold look"
Burgundy gold

I wanted something with this autumns main color, which is brownish red. I started with pants in that color, I actually have a pair of pants in that color. I found a black top with a gold belt, and that did it all. I figured I could match up two trends, brownish red and gold! So that's why its a lot of gold. I loved the gold shoes. I had a pair of gold shoes before, but I grew out of them. The I chose circles for the jewelry. Round gold bracelet and round gold earrings. I went with a clutch in black and gold like the top. I would do some kind of brownish red smokey eye for this, and burgundy lips of course. Just do regular black nails. Don't wear TO much gold or burgundy, it would be to much. This is a party outfit, and not a casual!
